Planning Assistance

The Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment plays a vital role in strengthening our transportation infrastructure by promoting coordination of transportation investments, reducing congestion, improving safety and accessibility, and providing greater travel options. The Office offers technical assistance in the following areas:

1. By undertaking, identifying, coordinating, and overseeing studies of potential highway, transit, rail, and other improvements or strategies, to help address needs identified in the Statewide Transportation Plan
   
   
2. Providing technical assistance to local governments and regional entities, including assistance to establish and promote urban development areas
